Mystery paw prints are captured in the snow

MORE mystery tracks have been spotted in the snow in the countryside around Loughborough.

Last week, the Echo reported on a set of tracks in the snow spotted off Tickow Lane in Shepshed that could have been made by a big cat.

And this week smallholder Peter Wright, 50, who lives on land between Costock and Bunny, believes he had an unusual visitor one night after spotting tracks in fresh snow.

He said: "For a long time something has been upsetting my 12 dogs at night, and on Sunday night they were playing merry hell, they didn't stop barking all night.
"In the morning I walked down and saw the tracks.

"None of my dogs had been out, and it was too big to be a badger or a fox - the paw marks were three inches wide by about five inches long.

"I'm just curious to know what it is."
