Puppy blown away by 70mph wind

A chihuahua swept up into the air and blown away by a 70mph gust of wind has been reunited with her owners.

Missing pet Tinker Bell was found a mile away after being picked up and hurled out of sight by the sudden blast.

The 2.7kg (6lb) dog was eventually traced with the help of a psychic, to woodland a mile from where she went missing.

Dorothy and Lavern Utley said their beloved brown long-haired dog was dirty and hungry but otherwise fine.

The Utleys had set up an outdoor display at a flea market in Waterford Township, 40km (25 miles) north-west of Detroit on Saturday.

Eight-month-old Tinker Bell was standing on their platform trailer when she was blown away.

Dorothy Utley told The Detroit News that her cherished pet "just went wild" upon seeing her again yesterday.
