Dino Rod

The north-south divide surrounding the tyrannosaur is a myth. Evidence that the breed lived in the southern as well as northern hemisphere has been found in the shape of a rod-like bone of a 3m-tall (10ft) creature in Australia. However, it throws up another question - why only those in the north grew to be the size of T-rex. The Anglo-Australian study appears in Science.
