STEER CLEAR: Swimming with wild dolphine may be a whale of a time for you - but spare a thought for the dolphins themselves. Tourist boats which deliberately herd dolphins - so thrill-seeking tourists can dive in very close - stress the animals and stop them from resting and feeding their young. 'Our message is, keep your distance and put the dolphins first - or the animals will leave,' said Newcastle University's Dr Per Berggren.
