And the bride wore... roadkill: Classy but creepy couture collection made from dead animals

If you're struggling to find the money to pay for a show-stopping outfit this festive season you could take a leaf out of artist Jess Eaton's book. She creates her clothes from 'ethically sourced' dead animals such as roadkill.

The controversial fashion designer has launched her second 'Roadkill Couture' range that includes clothing and accessories made from cat fur, alpaca, seagull and goose feathers - and even a human ribcage.

She has also expanded into bridal wear, using white feathers to create headpieces inspired by the fairy stories and books that shaped her childhood.

The Brighton-based designer never pays for her materials and 'ethically sources' them from roadkill and animals that have died of natural causes.

Jess said: 'We eat the meat from animals every day and then we throw away their bones and fur - it's all just waste.

'But when I take these parts of a dead animal and turn them into beautiful pieces of clothing that can be enjoyed for many years to come, it makes people question their feelings about what's acceptable.'
