Man gets 2 years in jail for attempting to steal rhino horn from UK museum


Iraqi man pleads guilty

July 2012. Officers from Norwich CID charged a 21 year old man after an incident at Norwich Castle Museum on Monday 21 February 2012. Nihad Mahmod, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted theft and pleaded guilty to the attempted theft of a rhino horn at Norwich Castle.
Mahmod was one of four men who were disturbed by museum staff during their attempt to steal the rhino horn, the other three have never been caught.
