The sprightly piglet leapt into action after it spotted the helpless young buck struggling to make it to dry land.
Letting out a loud shriek, the distressed animal appeared to have trapped one of its hooves after wandering into the water at a children's zoo.
However help was quickly at hand as the brave pig jumped into the water before paddling over to the goat and pushing it to safety.
The clip has been uploaded onto video-sharing website YouTube where it has racked up over 200,000 hits in just two days, receiving thousands of 'likes'.
Borrowing a phrase from 1995 animal comedy-drama film Babe, one user simply wrote: 'That'll do pig..'
While another added: 'This is a superhero pig... SPIDER PIG!!!'
However other users condemned the amateur cameraman for not doing more to help the beached goat.
'This pig is more heroic than any of the humans there,' wrote one.
The clip finishes showing the cute duo grazing next to each other on the safety of dry land.
