British holiday makers Tom and Charlotte described the experience as "It felt like a bus was landing on us"

Tom Mustill and Charlotte Kinloch amazingly escaped completely unscathed following a 40tn whale leaping up from the water and landing on their kayak off the coast of California.
The video was captured by onlookers on a whale watching boat. Many feared the worst as their kayak was breached, throwing them into the water.
