If you’ve ever been concerned about your guinea pig getting injured while doing battle then a new piece of armour that’s gone on sale may be just what you need.
The battle gear is available to buy on eBay after its previous owner Lucky the guinea pig died.
The pet can be seen modelling the fetching chainmail and helmet in a series of promotional shots to the delight of many users online.
CorpseGoddess wrote: ‘I was wondering how heavy it was, for the guinea pig’s little stumpy legs. That being said, I immediately had visions of guinea pig jousting contests.’
Lauren Davis added: ‘I picture it with carrots instead of lances. The guinea pigs eventually pause to eat each other’s weapons.’
The suit is being auctioned off by eBay user mightys0x and we can only hope the next pet to wear it has better fortune than Lucky.
