An evening at a Rick Stein restaurant is something our wallets might fear, but Carol Vorderman felt the pinch of a different kind when her dinner at Stein’s The Seafood Restaurant fought back.
While Carol picked out a crab for her meal, one lunged with its claws and left a bone-deep gash in the former presenter’s thumb.
That’s one way to guarantee you’ll be picked.
Commenting on her injury Carol said, 'Thankfully, it doesn’t appear to be permanently damaged’.
It’s been a clumsy year for Carol as in April she tripped in her four inch heels and fell down a flight of stairs, leaving her with a broken nose.
