A dog owner could not believe his eyes after setting up cameras to find out how his dog kept getting out of the house at night.
The resulting footage has become an internet sensation, notching up more than a million views on YouTube in just two days.
The dog, which suffers from separation anxiety, was locked in the kitchen by its owner each night for its own safety.
Confused at how the dog kept getting out of the locked room, its owner set up hidden cameras to see how the animal escaped.
The footage shows the animal climbing on top of the kitchen sink and standing on two legs while it works out a way to climb through a slim gap at the top of a closed-off hatch.
Andrew Holzberger, a friend of the dog's owner, put the video on his YouTube page.
