Florida won't repeat popular python hunt in 2014

Feel free to remove tactical tomahawk from your Christmas wish list after the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announced this week there will be no repeat of the wildly popular 2013 Python Challenge.

Nearly 1,600 people in 38 states and Canada paid $25 each and agreed to sit through an online python hunting course to chase these invasive snakes across the Everglades this year. Sixty-eight snakes were captured and $5,000 awarded for largest snakes (14-feet, 3 inches) and the most snakes caught during the 30-day hunt.
