FRAXINI in Exeter (From Guin)

A massive, striking and incredibly rare moth which was once thought to have been extinct in Great Britain has been spotted in Exeter.

The Clifden nonpareil - also known as the Blue Underwing - was seen by zoologist graduate Will Haigh while he was on a break at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.

Will snapped some photos of the impressive insect on his hand to illustrate its incredible size and beauty.
