A peckish pigeon drops in through an upstairs window for a bite to eat – and cheekily nicks a bagel.
Even more amazingly, it managed to make off with the treat hanging around its neck.
Which must have made it even more of a choker for some hungry person counting on tucking into the bagel for breakfast.
One passer-by in Brixton, South London, said: “I’ve seen one or two thefts around here in my time, but I think I can say I’ve never seen anyone fly from the scene of a crime before. It certainly brightened up my day and gave us a real laugh.”
Bet the pigeon’s pals were pleased too when he showed up.
