A greedy dog needed lifesaving surgery after wolfing down 20 chocolate cup cakes.
Patterdale terrier Polly was delighted when her owner accidentally left out the treats.
But worried Yvonne Taylor knew large amounts of chocolate can poison dogs and contacted a PDSA surgery in Southampton.
Vets washed out Polly's stomach and she is fine.
