Local school to open Wildwood Fort

On Thursday 7th May at 13:15 Yr2 from St Ronans will be the first official users of the new Wildwood Fort. In attendance at the launch of the fort will be representatives from Jewsons whose generous donations made the project a possibility.

St Ronans are visiting the park as part of an educational visit with guided tours and workshops and had delayed their visit until the fort was open.

The fort has been designed and built by the Wildwood Ranger Team.

Wildwood's 'Wildlife Conservation Park' is an ideal day out for all the family where you can come 'nose to nose' with British Wildlife. Wildwood offers its members and visitors a truly inspirational way to learn about the natural history of Britain by actually seeing the wildlife that once lived here, like the wolf, beaver, red squirrel, wild boar and many more.

Wildwood is situated close to Canterbury, just off the A291 between Herne Bay and Canterbury.
