Circus debate: Should wild animals be banned from UK circuses?


Following the news on Friday November 7 that the proposed ban on wild animals in UK circuses has been blocked for the third time we asked two leading politicians, one from each side of the debate, to put their side across; Conservative MP Andrew Rosindell, who blocked the bill on October 17, and former Defra Minister and Labour MP Jim Fitzpatrick who proposed the Bill. If passed, the Bill will prohibit the use of wild animals in circuses, and for connected purposes.
