Weird Paw Print Found in Snow - is it Wolds Panther?

From the Louth Leader: 5 Feb. 2009

IS this new proof that a panther is still prowling the Wolds?

For years eyewitnesses have come forward to say they have seen a black panther like creature around the Louth, Horncastle and Market Rasen area.

Sightings had dried up over thge last few years - but now a man has come forward with a photo of a strange paw print in the snow.

Film maker Adrian Campbell came across this marking on Tuesday.

He said: "These giant paw prints in the snow appeared outside our office on the old Binbrook airfield and they're not accompanied by a human so it's not someone walking a dog.

"They measure about five inches and the front to back legs are over three feet apart.

"I often work late into the evening and I will be a lot happier knowing it's not a hungry big cat eyeing up a meal as I sprint for my car in the dark!"

He said he had researched dog paw prints and they were all completely different from these.
