Three-year plan launched to help Notts' hedgehogs

AN ECOLOGICAL group has launched a three-year survey to assess the health of Notts' hedgehog population.

The Nottinghamshire Biodiversity Action Group and Nottinghamshire Biological and Geological Records Centre are drawing up a 'species action plan', and need the help of people in the county to gather and record sightings and evidence of hedgehogs in Notts.

Hedgehogs are now an endangered species. For information about the plan, call Derek Wilson on 07780503399 or e-mail Hedgehog_records@hotmail.co.uk
