Over 3,000 macaques have had
to be moved on to higher ground as full-capacity storage tests were carried out
at the Three Gorges Dam in China's Hubei province.
As waters rose to 175m, areas
where the monkeys used to feed were submerged - but the animals should return
to their normal habitats once the waters recede at the beginning of 2013.
Tom Santorelli reports.
