An Oklahoma motorcyclist who is inseparable from his pet dog has found a way for his best friend to become his permanent riding partner.
Bob Applegate fitted a sidecar onto his bike to allow companion Fred to share his life on the open road around Tulsa.
Although a softie at heart, the Great Pyrenees is hairier than even the gruffest biker.
And the four-legged animal appears to enjoy his adventures on three wheels.
He even sports his own pair of old-fashioned biker goggles, but is yet to receive his own helmet.
The dangers, though, remain limited.
At present, this easy rider's travels have peaked with a trip to his local Starbucks rather than an adrenaline-driven attack on the state's highways.
