Glow-in-the dark rabbits created by scientists to treat diseases

It sounds like something out of a science fiction film, but rabbits that glow in the dark are real and are living in Turkey.

Scientists in Hawaii and Turkey have successfully bred a litter of eight rabbits as a way of developing medicine for life-threatening diseases.

This includes two rabbits that glow green in the dark.

The florescent coloring indicates that genetic material injected into the embryos has been incorporated into the rabbits’ natural makeup.

In daylight, the rabbits look no different from the others, and all of them were born at a research center in Turkey.
