Not content with being the best at muscling in on sun loungers, now Germans’ pet dogs are getting in on the act as well.
Three ‘Paw Hotels’ are offering pooches five-star treatment, including a doggy theatre, their own rooms where classical music is played and sun loungers by a beach.
A bus service is even laid on to pick up the pets and bring them to the hotel.
There are branches of the hotel chain in Berlin, Hilden and Jade in Germany, after two more were opened following the runaway success of the first.
