50,000 bees worry Orlando neighborhood

An Orlando woman says she’s fed up with no one taking responsibility for a massive beehive right outside her property.
Jessie Green and her neighbor said the massive beehive is on a tree on the other side of their property line near South Orange Blossom Trail and Central Florida Parkway.

Green said they’ve called the county, they’ve called animal control and have even complained to their neighborhood association and all they’re told is that they have to pay $200 to have it removed. They feel it’s unfair and said it’s a safety hazard. They want help.
“Please come and help us get these bees away from here because they’re too many children around here, due to the safety of the kids,” Green said. “My husband comes out here to fish. There’s over 50,000 bees. We didn’t even know it was here. I mean, it’s kind of crazy.”
Green’s neighbor said in the afternoon, you can actually hear the bees hovering around it and fear someone’s going to stung soon.
